Shaboozey - The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales - {vinyl LP}

Following the multi-platinum success of the global smash hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and his standout contributions to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Shaboozey returns with his most ambitious project yet: The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. Expanding on the genre-blending vision of Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, the album further establishes Shaboozey as a leading voice in modern Americana, weaving together country, hip-hop and folk influences within a cinematic tale of revenge, redemption and tragic love.

At the heart of the album is the story of Cherie Lee, a young woman whose life is shattered when her sheriff father is murdered by the notorious Bootcut Boys. Abandoning the badge, she embarks on a relentless quest for vengeance, hunting the gang down one by one. Along the way, she falls in love with an outlaw connected to her enemies—not the killer himself, but a man burdened by guilt through association. As he searches for redemption and she struggles to escape the darkness consuming her, both discover that violence leaves wounds that cannot easily heal.

When her lover ultimately kills the true murderer in her name, the cycle of bloodshed only deepens. In the album’s devastating climax, Cherie chooses vengeance over love, sacrificing the man who cares for her most and becoming the very thing she once sought to destroy.

Bold, cinematic and emotionally charged, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales showcases Shaboozey’s storytelling ambitions on a grand scale, delivering a powerful concept album from one of contemporary music’s most exciting and innovative artists.
