Souls Of Mischief – 93 'Til Infinity - Orange {vinyl LP}

Released in 1993, Souls of Mischief’s debut album, “93 ’til Infinity,” stands as a landmark in hip-hop. It arrived during a period dominated by the “G-funk” sound, filled with braggadocio and tales of gang violence. In contrast, Souls of Mischief offered a more introspective and playful approach. Their infectious beats, built on jazzy samples, provided the foundation for witty and clever wordplay from the four-member crew. The album’s title track, “93 ’til Infinity,” perfectly captured their essence: a laid-back anthem for chilling and showcasing lyrical prowess. Though not a commercial juggernaut at the time, “93 ’til Infinity” garnered critical acclaim for its technical skill, innovative soundscapes, and focus on everyday experiences, paving the way for a new wave of underground hip-hop.

Remastered reissue, 2LP orange  vinyl record edition.
